Location: Portland, OR (97211)

FT/PT Status: Full -Time (Five Days A Week)

Shift: Night - (6:00pm Start)

Hourly Rate: $25.00 to $29.00 (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Class A Hostler Duties at United Salad Company:

Interacting with dispatch and quickly communicating truck assignments when requested
Ensuring truck fleet is fueled and ready to go out on their route
Safely place trucks into locations throughout the yard
Make shuttle runs to distribution centers when necessary
Drop and hook trucks in preparation for going out on a route
Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
All other duties as requested or assigned

We are currently seeking motivated Class A drivers who embody the following qualities:

3-5 years of Class A Driving Experience
Valid Class A CDL and medical card
Demonstrated ability to drive a manual stick shift
Demonstrated ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions
Clean motor vehicle driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.
