Class A Hostler Duties at United Salad Company:
- Interacting with dispatch and quickly communicating truck assignments when requested
- Ensuring truck fleet is fueled and ready to go out on their route
- Safely place trucks into locations throughout the yard
- Make shuttle runs to distribution centers when necessary
- Drop and hook trucks in preparation for going out on a route
- Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
- All other duties as requested or assigned
We are currently seeking motivated Class A drivers who embody the following qualities:
- 3-5 years of Class A Driving Experience
- Valid Class A CDL and medical card
- Demonstrated ability to drive a manual stick shift
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions
- Clean motor vehicle driving record. Must be 21 years of age or older.
